A dedicated wife and mother, Maria's passion for both mathematics and art led her to pursue degrees in Applied Mathematics and Physics at the National Technical University of Athens, where she developed a deep understanding of geometry. While her studies in mathematics and physics equipped her with a deep understanding of the principles governing the natural world, her love for jewellery design inspired her to combine these principles with her creative talents to establish Chrisaphe.

 The name "Chrisaphe" comes from the Greek word "chrysafi," which means "gold" and is classically regarded as the most valuable of metals due to its exceptional durability and resistance to tarnishing. Inspired by London's fashion, Athens' history, and Singapore's futurism, Maria set out to create a jewellery line that fused the precision and elegance of geometry with the artistry of design, and her vision has continued to inspire and captivate customers around the world
